Users can create tasks and allocate to either themselves or other users. By default a task is private to that user and cannot be seen by other members of the team ( except Admin - see below)
Sharing Tasks
If a task is allocated to another user the task will appear on that users list of tasks and also appear on the contact's task list in their profiles. A user can add as many team members to their task as they wish.
Recommended Procedure for client tasks
We recommend that internally, you ensure that if a task is allocated to a client that you all share as a team, that the user creating the task adds all other users to that task. This will mean that all users will be able to see that task at any time against the contact profile.
How to allocate a task
MANAGER VIEW
The manager/account owner - can see tasks from all users, even if they are not assigned those tasks. In manager / owner login, the task screen will load with only your own tasks showing. To view tasks by other users, use the filter to filter tasks by user.
In the Contact Profile menu, all tasks associated with a contact will show in the tasks sub menu.
